Will my 3yr old be able to swim wearing the
Ulu Kids FloatSuit?

Yes. A 3yr old non swimmer who puts on an  Ulu Kids FloatSuit will be able to swim across the Pool. The design of the Ulu Kids FloatSuit allows the wearer a natural swimming position where they can use both their arms and legs. Kids wearing the Ulu Kids FloatSuit are able to swim for long periods of time effectively learning to push water.

Is the Ulu Kids FloatSuit USCG approved PFD for Boating?

No, The Ulu Kids FloatSuit is not a USCG approved PFD and is not intended for Boating. The Ulu Kids FloatSuit is a buoyancy aid. It will Float a child and prevent them from sinking. It functions to allow kids to learn to swim easier and improves the safety and experience for very young Surfers.

 

What is the youngest Age to wear an Ulu Kids FloatSuit?

Kids who are 3yrs old are a good match. A 3yr old non-swimmer who puts on one of our suits will be able to swim the first time.

How long have the Ulu Kids FloatSuits been made?

Ulu Kids has been making this original design FloatSuit for over 20 years. More than 100,000 little Swimmers and Surfers have Loved their FloatSuits. We invented the Ulu Kids FloatSuit for our own young kids to improve their safety when we took them out surfing.

Will my 2yr old fit into a Small?

We most reccomend these sults for 3+. Not all kids are the same. Some will be ready to use the sult a little earlier. Kids need to wear the right size sult according to their weight.  

 

Will my child wear the FloatSuit?

Kids Love to wear their FloatSults. They are very comfortable and flexible. Kids feel safe them and they look cool. Unlike some stiff flotation devices, the Ulu Kids FloatSult does not restrict motion. Kids can climb out of a Pool or up on a dock.    

 

Is the Foam Removeable?

The Ulu Kids FloatSuit is built like a Wetsuit. The high quality Stretch Foam is held in place by a wetsuit liner.

 

My daughter is 5, she can swim. Should she get a FloatSuit for Surfing?

My daughter is 6 and a competitive swimmer. She can swim a 50yd Butterfly. When we go down to the beach to Surf together, if there are any sets coming in she always wants to wear her FloatSuit. At this age, I want her to have only good times when we go Surfing.

 

How do I care for my Ulu Kids FloatSuit?

The Ulu Kids FloatSult should be rinsed with fresh water after use and hang to dry. If It gets terribly dirty the suit can be hand washed and hang to dry.

Small: 20-30lbs
Medium: 30-40/bs
Large: 40-50lbs
XLarge: 50-60lbs
